Repairing and servicing vintage watches is a difficult and delicate art. Each watch is different, even watches of the same make and model have unique needs. Which is why we quote servicing on a case by case basis. However, for a vintage wristwatch you should expect to pay between £150-£400 for a service. Our vintage watch services include the following:

Inspection

All watches are thoroughly inspected upon arrival and during the disassembly process. Signs of wear are documented and all pivots and jewels are inspected and recorded. At this point if there are any signs of damage that need repairing we'll contact you to agree next steps.

Full Clean and Oil

Once the watch has been inspected all components are cleaned thoroughly to remove any old oil and dirt that may have entered the movement. At this point the watch is then rebuilt and all pivots/jewels are oiled using high quality Mobius oils.

Seal Replacement

Any seals present in the watch are renewed, including but not limited to; bezel seals, crown seals, case back seals, etc... Although vintage watches should never be considered fully waterproof the renewal of watch seals are an important step in ensuring your watch stays trouble free.

Regulation

Once the watch has been full reassembled and cleaned we then regulate the movement to make sure your watch keeps time accurately.
